Power Supply for X-ray Tube
It is designed specially for X-ray tube, consists
mainly of two parts, adjustable anode high voltage
and controlled filament. It can regulate and stabilize
the anode current of the X-ray tube.
Technical specifications and functions as follows:
1, Input: AC220V±15% 50HZ±5HZ 1.5A
2, Output: UA: +HV 0~50KV/0~4mA
(DC)
UB: filament 0~3V/0~10A (DC)
3, Stability: UA: 0.05%
4, When with X-ray tube: stability of anode current
(IA) is 0.1%
5, Protection: Over current and over temperature,
self-restoring.
6, Adjustment: Optional. When manual, a potentiometer
can be used to regulate UA and UB separately.
When automatic, the D-type outlet on the front
panel can be used to connect with an external
device to control UA and to set IA.
7, Control: An on-off control with UA.
8, Display: +HV voltage display (4 1/2 digital)
on the front panel and anode current display (3
1/2 digital).
9, Slow start: Either on-off switch for control
or the mains switch is used to provide power,
there is a slow start to prevent it from electric
shock.
10, Working mode of filament power supply: It works in two modes, test and operation. In test mode, it works to stabilize the voltage. In operation mode, the automatically-regulated voltage will be negative feedback to the set IA (tube current) in order that IA can stay at the set value. To prevent UA from providing filament over-current which may lead to the damage of X-ray tube, in operation mode, the filament power supply won't start to work until UA reaches 1/5 higher than the rated voltage ( 10KV).
11, All of the high-voltage parts have been insulated
and encapsulated.
